AGA’s Future Trade Pathways Program offers a structured pathway to your dream job in a safe and supportive environment. You’ll have the opportunity to complete a comprehensive project under the guidance of expert trainers.
How it works:
Students work collaboratively throughout the year in a workshop environment, completing a practical project while exploring three core trades: carpentry, plumbing and electrical. Learning focuses on hands-on skill development, teamwork and applying Work Health and Safety awareness.
The primary project will be building a small scale house, teaching skills across three key trades:
- Carpentry – Build the framework, cut and assemble timber and install the roof.
- Plumbing – Add roofing, guttering and a working cold-water tap.
- Electrical – Wire in a working light and test circuits safely
