CPC32420 Certificate III in Plumbing

Becoming a plumber is a respected profession vital for maintaining infrastructure and water systems. Plumbers install, maintain and repair plumbing in various settings and industries. This course ensures you have the skills to work safely and effectively with plumbing systems while adhering to regulations. This is a trade qualification for plumbers in residential, industrial and commercial workplaces who are responsible for assembling, installing and maintaining water services, sanitary plumbing and sanitary drainage, gas, roofing and mechanical services in both existing and new constructions.

  • This qualification is delivered through a registered Apprenticeship.
  • Delivered through a blended approach, you’ll complete your face to face learning, 1 day per week in line with the Victorian School Terms.
  • There is no trade school during school holidays.
  • Students have access to our online Learning Management System to access training and theory assessment content.
  • Assessments are completed with a combination of written questions and practical tasks as well as in person observations at our Trade Training Centers.
The Certificate III in Plumbing gives graduates the skillset to seek employment in an variety of plumbing roles:

  • An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Students are required to pass the ACSF LLN test at the required level in reading, writing and numeracy
  • Have suitable language, literacy and numeracy skills to read and comprehend learning materials and perform assessment tasks.
  • Students are required to successfully complete a Pre-Training Review to establish suitability and appropriateness for the program.
  • Have sound computer skills to navigate simple software to complete assessment activities with AGA online learning management system.
  •  Have access to a laptop or computer to bring to training sessions.
  • Students under the age of 17 require documented permission from Secondary School administration.
  • Students obtaining a ‘Competent’ result for all units studied will be issued a ‘Certificate’ – CPC32420 - Certificate III in Plumbing by AGA.
  • Should a student not complete the full qualification, a ‘Statement of Attainment’ will be issued for the units which the student is deemed ‘Competent’.
