Introduction into Education Support

This engaging program is designed to give you an introduction into the world of Education Support within schools. You’ll learn though practical experience and training from qualified educators about what it’s like to work as a Teachers Aid as well as understanding that the traineeship experience looks like. The program covers topics such as the role and function within the Victorian education system, tasks and responsibilities, different types of learning and supporting challenging behaviours.  At the end of the course, you’ll have an insight as to the potential pathways to get started in this career.

The Introduction to Education Support Program is a five-day program delivered both from our campus facilities, or at a location arranged through one of our employment services partners. This program is offered both as a public program and though partnerships with employment services providers.
Included within the program is: BSBPEF201 – Support personal wellbeing in the workplace.
This course can potentially lead into one of our traineeship opportunities in CHC30221 – Certificate III in School Based Education Support.
