This course is delivered as an apprenticeship and requires employment. We can help connect students with employers for this 4-year program involving structured training and assessments. Course details may change according to industry and regulatory standards. You’ll have access to our online Learning Management System to access training and theory assessment content and are required to have access to a laptop. Assessments are completed with a combination of written questions, exams and a portfolio of practical tasks. Our state-of-the-art training facilities have all of the required tools and equipment for assessment activity to take place on site.
  • You must be 18 years of age or above at the time of application or have parent/guardian permission to enrol. Separation from secondary school evidence may be required.
  • Prior to enrolment or commencement of training you’ll be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and a pre-training review. These will assist with determining your suitability to the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
  • Students obtaining a competent result for all units studied will be issued a qualification. Should a student not complete the full qualification, a statement of attainment will be issued for the units which the student is deemed competent.
  • If you withdraw, you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment for the units you’ve successfully completed.
  • To facilitate structured face to face delivery away from the student’s workplace, classes will take place at our main campuses in Deer Park, Warragul and Korumburra.
