Declan participated in AGA’s School Based program, completing a Certificate II in Business and was hosted with Hume City Council in the Building Maintenance department.

Just to get to his placement, Declan needed to show extraordinary commitment in catching public transport from Gisborne, into the city and then back out to Broadmeadows for a 9am start. During the program, we saw extreme growth in Declan’s confidence and independence.

Upon completing the program, Declan was accepted to Footscray College to study Film & Media.
