Trade Taster Program

This highly interactive program is designed to give participants an introduction into the world of trades. You’ll learn though practical experience and training from qualified industry experts about what it is like to work within industry as well as the experience of being an apprentice. The program covers trade experiences to understand Plumbing, Electrical, Automotive and Building and Construction.

The Trade Taster Program is a five-day program delivered from one of our trade centre campuses. At the end of the five days, you will have a great insight as to the potential pathways to get started in one of these careers.

This course can potentially lead into one of our pre-apprenticeship programs.

Included in the program is the White Card Course: CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

This program is offered both as a public program and though partnerships with Employment Services Providers and can be customised to suit the needs of different groups.
